Invest in Students. Invest in Culpeper.

E Squared
E-Squared is Career Partners’ signature program, celebrating more than 15 years of inspiring entrepreneurial thinking in Culpeper County. This semester-long business competition challenges teams of high school students to develop a new business concept. Students are randomly placed in groups and paired with local business coaches who provide mentorship, lead workshops, and guide them through creating a business plan.

Maker Energy Faire
The Maker Energy Faire is a one-day community event hosted at the Culpeper Technical Education Center (CTEC) each spring. Families from across the county explore interactive exhibits and hands-on learning stations that highlight creativity, technology, and innovation. Each year, more than 3,000 attendees enjoy demonstrations ranging from drones and 3D printing to robotics and engineering projects.

STEM
Every year, all 5th grade students in Culpeper County experience a day of discovery at STEM Days, held at the Culpeper Regional Airport. This event introduces students to the exciting ways science, technology, engineering, and math are used in the world around them.

Career Exploration
Career Exploration events introduce students to in-demand career pathways and the skills needed to succeed in them. Through Healthcare Day and Manufacturing Day, students engage directly with professionals, tour facilities, and ask questions about future opportunities. These experiences encourage students to set goals and expand their understanding of local career options.

Mock Interviews
Mock Interviews give every Culpeper County 11th grader the chance to step into the world of work and practice their professional skills in a supportive setting. Each student completes a job application, creates a personalized resume, and sits down for a one-on-one interview with a local business or community volunteer.

Educators in the Workforce
The purpose of Educators in the Workforce is to engage teachers and counselors with business and industry. Educators improve tehir pedagogical practices by incorporating new methods, labor market information, and employment skills that meet industry standards.
