On March 20, Culpeper Technical Education Center (CTEC) welcomed industry partners and community members for the 2025 Skills Showcase—and WOW, did the students shine!
From hands-on demonstrations to career-changing connections, this event highlighted the real-world skills CTEC students are mastering every day. Some major moments included:
46 business professionals from 26 companies attended—building 11 new industry connections!
Former CTEC students returned, now working in local businesses they first connected with through CTEC.
One standout student received a job offer on the spot—with three more offers on the way!
Culinary Arts made its Skills Showcase debut, serving up deliciousness to an excited crowd.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue was so impressed with CTEC’s EMT & Firefighter programs that they’re taking ideas back to implement in their own training!
