CTEC welcomed eighth graders from Floyd T. Binns Middle School for a hands-on introduction to career and technical education!
Students had the opportunity to explore CTEC’s state-of-the-art facility, which houses a dozen of the CTE programs available to students from both Culpeper County and Eastern View High School. During the visit, CTEC student representatives led tours, shared their own classroom experiences, and talked about the skills they’re developing through their programs.
From healthcare, criminal justice, and fire and rescue, to HVAC, electric, and carpentry, through cybersecurity, drafting, and more, these visits help eighth graders learn about the many pathways available to them in high school and beyond, sparking excitement for the opportunities that align with their interests and career goals.
