In 2017, Career Partners expanded its focus on hands-on STEM learning with the launch of the Maker Energy Faire, a community event designed to celebrate creativity, technology, innovation, and exploration.
Held at the Culpeper Technical Education Center (CTEC), the one-day event brings together students, families, local professionals, and organizations for interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and hands-on learning experiences. Over the years, activities have introduced attendees to everything from automotive technology and carpentry to drones, robotics, engineering, and other STEM-related fields.
With more than 3,000 attendees each year, the Maker Energy Faire creates an environment where participants of all ages can explore new interests, experiment with technology, ask questions, and learn directly from the people working and creating within these fields.
The Maker Energy Faire reflects Career Partners’ commitment to making STEM accessible and engaging beyond the classroom. By bringing education, industry, and the community together, the event encourages students and families to explore, create, and discover the possibilities that can grow from curiosity.
