Since E² (E-Squared) launched in 2009, the program has challenged students to develop their skills through teamwork, problem-solving, public speaking, and the creation of a complete business plan. For the members of each year’s winning team, the experience has also included a significant investment in their next step after high school.
Over the program’s first 16 years, Career Partners awarded approximately $400,000 in scholarships to E² students. In 2022, recognizing the rising cost of higher education, Career Partners increased the individual scholarship award from $5,000 to $10,000 for each member of the winning team.
These scholarships represent an important extension of the E² experience. Students spend a semester developing their ideas, navigating challenges with their teammates, learning from local business coaches, and preparing to present their work before a panel of judges. The scholarship award helps translate that hard work into meaningful support as winning students pursue their education after graduation.
