Since its launch in 2009, E² (E-Squared) has challenged Culpeper County high school students to turn ideas into complete business plans while developing skills in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and professional presentation.
Each year, teams from Culpeper County High School and Eastern View High School work throughout the semester with local business coaches before competing for the opportunity to advance to the E² Finals. Over the years, winning concepts have reflected the creativity, ingenuity, and hard work of hundreds of participating students.

While one team ultimately earns the top honor each year, E²’s legacy extends far beyond its winners. Every student who participates gains experience working as part of a team, developing and defending an idea, responding to challenges, and presenting professionally—skills designed to serve them well long after the competition ends.
